Academic Activities

The Computer Engineering department is comprised of the following practices and facilities that nurture the best out of our students

• Use of Audio Visual aids while teaching
• A handbook containing all the details of the curriculum along with the learning objectives
• Periodic tests, assignments and seminars for students which will help them in improving their knowledge as well as prepare for their examination
• Assignments outside the syllabus content
• Schedule for the terms are given in advance
• Maintenance of register to keep in track of absenteeism
• Prepare lesson plans for lectures
• Encouraging group projects in order to improve the interpersonal skills
• Helping students to develop insight into the subjects
• Extensive use of the library
• Offering job oriented courses
• Including industrial related subjects in the curriculum

Industrial Visit

Students are exposed to on-ground industrial knowledge through various industrial visits as per the academic syllabus. During these visits, they learn about the current trends and processes followed in these industries related to their line of study. To add more these visits have in turn helped our students with job opportunities too.

Co-curricular Activities

Students are constantly encouraged and trained to participate in national, international conferences and present papers, participate in technical events through sponsorships and awards.

Library

The department’s library has an array of valuable books that help the staff, students refer and gain knowledge. It has a collection of more than 500 text and reference books.
