Muthayammal Educational Trust was founded in the year 1984 by our beloved Founder and Former Chairman Late. Thiru R.Ramasamy at Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District.
The trust was named after his beloved mother Late Tmt. R.Muthayammal with the objective of imparting technical education to rural and underprivileged youths in his native village.
The founder Late Thiru. R.Ramasamy was a successful businessman in the field of Civil Engineering and his firm Jothi & Co., Chennai was one of the most reputed name in Chennai Metro Water Board. He realized the need for education particularly technical education at his native village to uplift rural youths, he setup Muthayammal Polytechnic College.
Now Ranked as one of the top most polytechnic college in the state for the past 21 years,It has educated more than 30000 students since its inception. He expanded the horizon in the field of education by setting up Muthayammal Memorial College of Arts &Science and Muthayammal Industrial Training institute at Rasipuram. He also founded M.R Matriculation Hr.Sec.School Chennai in the year 1987 and now educating more than 2000 students.
